Request Account & Data Deletion

Submit a formal Nagrik request to permanently delete your resident profile, personal records, and device tokens.

📋 What happens when you delete your account:

Personal Data Permanently Erased: Your name, phone number, email address, residential address, avatar image, and ward link will be removed from active databases.
Device & Notification Tokens Revoked: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens and authentication sessions will be immediately invalidated.
Civic Audit & Complaint Continuity: Past grievance records and resolution proofs are preserved for service history with author details anonymized to “Deleted user”.
🛡️ 7-Day Grace Period & Auto-Cancellation: You have a 7-day grace window. If you log back into the Nagrik app before the deletion date, your deletion request will be automatically cancelled.

📱 Inside Mobile App

Open the Nagrik app ➔ Tap Profile ➔ Scroll to “Delete Account” ➔ Confirm 7-day deletion.
